How It All Began

Lisa’s tomboy tendencies and klutzy falls as a child helped her develop skills that would later save her in high-risk stunts.

Her first official stunt came in New York, hanging off a garbage truck while doubling Jo Ann Pflug in a chase scene with Ed O’Neill and stuntman Harry Madsen. She also doubled Julie Hagerty in The Day the Women Got Even, and hazardous photo-double work for Tina Louise and Barbara Rhoades followed shortly after.

Lisa honed her craft through observation, practice, and daring physical feats—learning to survive, improvise, and master her body in space.

Memorable On-Set Moments

  • Car Hits Gone Wrong – Lisa recalls being hit by a sliding car and using gymnastic instincts to stay safe
  • O’Malley with Mickey Rooney – diving out of the way of a car during a snowy chase scene
  • Training and Mentorship – learning advanced techniques from seasoned stunt players
